Course Overview
This intermediate-level 3 food safety course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Upon completion, participants will possess the essential knowledge and skills to take responsibility for food safety monitoring procedures, identify potential hazards to food safety, implement appropriate corrective actions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of food safety standards within their organisation.
The qualification is aligned with the National Occupational Standards developed by Improve, the Sector Skills Council for the food and drink manufacturing industry, and follows the qualification template set by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) under the guidance of Improve.
